It was shocking to learn this morning that Getty Images photographer Chris Hondros had been severely injured in an attack in Libya, and even more so to learn of his death when our CEO sent out this e-mail. So much of our editorial library was shot by Chis, and he was very, very good at what he did. In reading memories from his colleagues, it’s clear that he was passionate about his job and the subjects he photographed. Work like his makes me proud to be a part of Getty.
